Ohio Official English Bill Is Heard in CommitteeMay 1, 2008
The Ohio House of Representatives Government and Elections Committee held a hearing this morning on H.B. 477, legislation to make English the official language of the state. A representative from U.S. English, Inc. testified in favor of the bill, which was introduced by Rep. Bob Mecklenborg.
