Another Town Seeks to Make English Official

Thurmont, Md. latest to promote one official language in government

Burns’s proposal, which was introduced at a June 16 board meeting, follows successful efforts in the nearby town of Walkersville, Md., as well as Frederick County, where Thurmont is located.
