VIDEO - Rep. Steve King Leads Effort to Make English the Official Language of the U.S.

As a state Senator in Iowa, Steve King led the fight to make English the official language of the state. After his election to Congress in Nov. 2002, Rep. King has become one of the nation’s leaders to make English the official language of the United States. In the 108th, 109th and 110th Congresses, Rep. King introduced H.R. 997, the English Language Unity Act, which has become one of the most widely supported bills of the decade.

In this video, Rep. King speaks with U.S. English about the importance of uniting all Americans under the common language of English.
