VIDEO - Rep. Tom Price Protects Employers who Have English in the Workplace policies

Re-elected to his third term on Tuesday, Rep. Tom Price has been serving the constituents of Georgia’s 6th Congressional District since 2005. With eight years of experience in the Georgia legislature and more than two decades of experience as an orthopedist in the Atlanta area, Rep. Price is well acquainted with the problems caused by limited English proficiency in Georgia. 

In addition to being a co-sponsor of H.R. 997, the English Language Unity Act, Rep. Price introduced legislation that would protect employers who institute English-in-the-workplace policies. H.R. 4464 collected more than 100 co-sponsors in the 110th Congress. 

Before the election, Rep. Price sat down with U.S. English to discuss H.R. 4464 and the importance of a common language in a work environment. A video clip of that conversation is below.
