South Dakota Senate Committee Approves Official English Measure

The South Dakota Senate affairs committee voted yesterday to approve a constitutional amendment that would strengthen the state's official English law. If the measure, S.J.R. 2, passes the full Senate and House, it would appear on the general election ballot in November.
