3 New Co-Sponsors Added to H.R. 997

English Language Unity Act Now Has 91 Bi-Partisan Co-Sponsors

Three Representatives added their names as supporters of H.R. 997 yesterday, bringing the total number of co-sponsors of the bill to make English the official language to 91. Dedicatted official English supporters Judy Biggert of Illinois and Peter King of New York were joined by freshman Representative Christopher Lee of New York to increase the number of co-sponsors to more than one-fifth of the U.S. House of Representatives.
