H.R. 997, legislation to make English the official language received additional support in Congress yesterday, picking up two more co-sponsors. Rep. Chris Carney on Pennsylvania and Rep. Bob Latta of Ohio recently became co-sponsors of H.R. 997, the English Language Unity Act, joining lead sponsor Rep. Steve King and 97 other House members as supporters of a bill to make English the official language of the United States. |
