After passing the U.S. House of Representatives, the Puerto Rico Democracy Act (H.R. 2499) is up for consideration in the Senate.

In this U.S. English Audiocast, Director of Government Relations, Tim Schultz, discusses recent developments on the measure that could lead to Puerto Rican statehood and the first state whose government operates in a language other than English.
