My great, great grandparents migrated here from Germany. They were so proud of their new home in the USA that they would not allow the German to be spoken any longer in the house. Their children had to learn the new language. The real old ladies did not have the faculties to learn the new language so they kept their native talk, but the young ones were instructed not to speak German any longer… they were so proud to be Americans that they supported the American dream all the way. I think it is time to pledge allegiance. If you do not want to honor the American flag, pledge and language, it is time to go home.
