As a Worker's Compensation Counselor, it is difficult trying to find an alternative job within the qualifications and limitations for an injured worker.  It was impossible for me to find a job for an injured worker that only spoke a particular dialect of Chinese (not even close to Mandarin).  She came here to work for relatives and lived with them (someone came with her to our meetings to interpret) but since she was injured, she could no longer do that work (kitchen help in Chinese restaurant).  There were alternative jobs within her physical limitations that she could have done except she didn't speak English and wasn't interested in learning.
